Nature of Content Submitted
The purpose of jodo.store is to enable customers (buyers) to interact with merchants (sellers) by providing a platform to view store showcases, record customer needs, provide store responses, place orders, maintain inventory, generate bills, etc for the purpose of providing convenience to the customers and enhancing customer engagement for the stores. As jodo.store provides a socially interactive service, any content you submit may be routed to appropriate users of the site with or without explicit notice, based on the nature of content.
Any data pertaining to Orders placed on jodo.store will be shared with Store Representatives, including but not limited to the Merchant/Owner, manager, employees, and any appointed delivery agents of the Store at which the Order was placed by the Customer
Please be aware that any information that you submit to us whether through the site, forms or email, including personally identifiable information, may be publicly displayed on sites hosted at https://www.jodo.store, or on websites not within our control. If you don’t want others to see such information, don’t submit it.
Content Subitted by Merchant/Cashier on behalf of the Store
All content submitted by a Cashier or Merchant, on behalf of the Store, continue to belong to the Store. However, The Merchant grants jodo.store, full rights to utilize the data for any of the following:
- Internally to troubleshoot, replicate, assist or investigate any issues, whether or not reported by the Merchant/Cashier
- For Research & Development of reports, tools and other utilities
Any new Customers added to jodo.store on behalf of a Store, will not be required to re-register when they transact with any other Stores that utilize jodo.store. Customer bill details shall not be shared between Stores.
Your Account, Content & Security
To register for a user account, you may be required to submit an email address, a phone number and other personal information, including but not limited to, your address.
When you purchase something from any of the stores participating on jodo.store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
Your email address and/or phone number may also be used to send you welcome messages, transactional notifications and promotional bulletins from jodo.store. If there are problems with your account or any Content submitted by you, we may contact you via email and/or phone as well
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed

Payment
We use Razorpay for processing payments. We/Razorpay do not store your card data on their servers. The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payment. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved.
Our payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
